I understand there is to be an anti-war protest on 13th October. I would like the Islamic Party and other Muslim organisations to publicise this widely; so that as many Muslims as possible attend. How else can we mobilise Muslims to be seen opposing this mindless war? A significant number of us seem to think going on marches does not have any impact. Why; As a community do we seem so helpless and unwilling to be seen participating in politics?

We fully agree with this message: Muslims should join with decent people of all religious and political persuasions in any activities that can demonstrate that the British government is out of touch with common people when supporting the American military assault against innocent civilians.
